Q: Can I participate in both the NY and NJ competitions? 

A: Last year you could do both, but this year we're hosting both competitions on the same day, and they'll both use the same problem set, so you can only participate in one. We recommend picking the site closer to you! 

Q: Can one school send multiple teams? Can one coach bring multiple teams? 

A: Yes, and yes. 

Q: Are T-shirts in adult or child sizes?

A: Adult sizes. 

Q: How do you determine the winners of the problem solving round? 

A: The team who solved the largest number of questions correctly wins. There are no deductions for incorrect answers, so students are encouraged to make guesses for any problems they cannot solve. 

Q: How can my students prepare? 

A: You can find last year's problem set here. The problems are also linked on our archive page. We also recommend using Mathcounts problems for preparation. 

Q: Can I cancel my registration? 

A: Yes, just email koritsia@gmail.com.

Q: Can I register late? 

A: Depending on availability, we may or may not say yes, but feel free to reach out to koritsia@gmail.com, and we'll let you know. Last year we let a number of teams register late at the HM competition without any problems.
